The missing link between Fusion EMR and Arizona DDD
Our Fusion importer is live. Drop in your visit export and two small spreadsheets, and Happy Claims builds the compliant 837 claims batch file for easy upload.
Your clinicians document in Fusion. DDD requires claims submitted via WellSky. Between those two facts sits a person with two windows open, retyping visits one at a time using the single-claim entry interface.
Happy Claims is already the go-to power tool for generating 837s to submit hundreds or thousands of claims at once. We're taking it even further by importing claims directly from one of the most popular and capable EMRs for speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
What you bring

- Your Fusion visits export, straight out of Fusion. No reformatting needed.
- A practitioners sheet — one row per practitioner to specify NPI and assigned supervisor for SLPAs/COTAs
- A rates sheet — one row per distinct rate to handle combinations of CPT, tiers, telehealth, assistant, etc.
You build the two sheets once and update them when someone joins or a contract changes. We kept them as plain spreadsheets on purpose: this is information you already maintain, and a file you can open and hand to a colleague is the right amount of technology for the job.

What happens next

Drag all three files in. Every visit gets joined to its practitioner and its rate — the part that used to be the manual work.
Then you review the flags: a visit whose practitioner isn't in your sheet, a service code with no rate, or perhaps a missing NPI in your practitioners sheet. You get the specific rows and the specific fields, not a failed import with an error count.
Most flags are fixed in the spreadsheet rather than the software. Fix it, drop the files again, and the importer re-runs in seconds. When the visits are clean, you create a claims batch directly in Happy Claims, and it moves through the same review and submission flow as everything else.

Fusion stays the source of truth
No mirroring, no syncing, nothing new for clinicians to learn. They work in Fusion. When it's time to bill, you export and drop — which also means there's nothing to break when Fusion ships an update.
If you're on Fusion and billing DDD, the importer is ready for you now.
